About the Aircraft
It was MP4/2C that McLaren introduced to the 1986 F1 Grand Prix. The McLaren MP4/2 was designed by John Barnard for the 1984 season. The McLaren MP4/2C was the updated version powered by a TAG-Porsche 1.5 litre V6 twin turbo engine with carbon monocoque chassis. A. Prost and K. Rosberg was the drivers. Rosberg run a one-off livery in yellow/white, different from the common red/white livery, and was successful in attracting fans' attention and had a huge promotion effect.
About the Kit
This is a 1/20 scale Unpainted Assembly Plastic Model Kit that reproduces the McLaren MP4/2C in 1986 Portuguese Grand Prix.
• Paint and Glue are required.
• Precisely reproduce the parts difference specified to the 1986 Portuguese Grand Prix with 80% newly tooling parts.
• The details such as the flame, suspension, cockpit, as well as TAG-Porsche V6 twin turbo engine to auxiliary equipment, are all reproduced realistically.
• The body cowling is removable after assembled.
• Marking for the #2 car driven by K. Rosberg in the 1986 Portuguese Grand Prix.
• The finish is 225mm in length.
