About the Aircraft
The T-1 was the first postwar Japanese designed and built jet-powered trainer and used by JASDF. The T-1s were used in the intermediate trainer role, and have been training many pilots for decades. The T-1A was powered by the British-designed turbojet, while the T-1B used the Japanese turbojet engine.
The first flight was in January 1958. A total of 66 T-1 aircrafts were built and retired in March 2006.
About the Kit
This is an unpainted assembly plastic model kit for JASDF JET TRAINER T-1A in 1/72 scale.
- Paint and Glue are not included.
- Contains One kit of T-1A, Cartograf made silk-screen printing decal.
- With newly tooling such as fuselage components, engine parts.
- Fine details and high accuracy in panel line.
- Reproduce the difference with T1-B precisely in detail.
