¡ÈThe Magnificent KOTOBUKI¡É is a Japanese original television animation series produced by Gemba which premiered in January, 2019. The series is directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and written by Michiko Yokote. The story centers on a hired bodyguard known as the ¡ÈKotobuki Air Squadron¡É, a team of six young women with magnificent skills. The aerial dogfights scene and the aircrafts shown in the anime have attracted a great deal of attention in Japan.
