【About the Aircraft】
The Blue Angels is the US Navy's world-class aerobatic team. Based at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, the Blue Angels was founded in 1946. Showcasing exceptional skills through demonstration flights, the pilots captivate audiences worldwide with their mastery of high-level piloting techniques.
The team's signature dense formation flight, which appears within arm's reach, never fails to draw a multitude of spectators during exhibition flights.
The Blue Angels have primarily utilized the leading fighter aircraft of their respective eras, with the Hornet becoming their mainstay since 1986. The early model F/A-18A/B was flown until 2010, followed by the C/D variant from 2011, and the E/F type Super Hornet starting in 2021.
【About the Kit】
■This 1/144 scale plastic model assembly kit reproduces the F/A-18 Hornet, a masterpiece of the US Navy's carrier-based fighter.
■Total length is approximately 11cm, and the number of parts is kept to a minimum, making it easy to assemble.
■Parts are made by F-Toys to realistically reproduce the shape of the aircraft.
■Cartograf decals are used to recreate the markings, such as yellow coloring lines and aircraft numbers.
