Dragon has released a fabulous new 1/35 scale kit of a StuH.42 Ausf.G based on the chassis of the StuG.III Ausf.G. An exciting element of this new kit is the full coat of molded-on Zimmerit in a typical ¡Èwaffle¡É pattern. It is an extraordinary challenge for even experienced modelers to realistically produce such a texture on their models, but now Dragon has completely taken away the sweat and consternation! Every modeler can now attain an instant Zimmerit coating with the waffle texture accurately and beautifully molded on the upper hull, superstructure and lower hull. This pattern has been engineered after much intensive research and close examination of wartime photographs. Other aspects of this kit are equally thorough and well presented, with high-quality molding throughout. Multi-material components such as photo-etched air-intake grills and metal tow cables add an additional degree of finesse. The inclusion of Magic Tracks also adds to ease of assembly.
