The Honda Civic EF3 entered the Class 3 of the All Japan Touring Car Championship (JTC) since 1988. Equipped with a matured 1.6L inline 4-cylinder engine, the Honda Civic EF3 brought the JTC Manufacturer Title to Honda in 1988 and 1989. At the final race in Macau Guia Race held in November 1989, Tomohiko Tsutsumi drove the Honda Civic EF3 with RAZO livery and won the class.
