1/72 US Navy Minesweeping/Cargo Helicopter MH-53E Sea Dragon "HM-14 Vanguard"
The MH-53E Sea Dragon is a mine-sweeping type of CH-53E Super Stallion, a large helicopter developed for the US Navy and Marine Corps. The engine is equipped with three General Electric T64-GE-416 turboshaft engines. With high output power, it is possible to tow larger minesweeping apparatus, demonstrating high mine sweeping ability. It was developed in 1980 and operated by the US Navy and Marine Corps. The Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14(HM-14) of the US Navy, nicknamed the Vanguard, is also flying the MH-53E since 1989. In 2007, it was deployed at the Iwakuni base in Japan and can be seen there.
