¡ÚAbout the Aircraft¡Û
The T-1 was the first Japanese developed and built jet trainer after World War II. The first mass production type T-1A was equipped with a British turbojet engine, while the T-1B used Japanese J3 turbojet engine. 20 aircraft have been produced and deployed from 1962. When the deployment of the successor T-4 began in 1998, the T-1 began to retire, and on March 2, 2006, with the final flight of the T-1B #810 belonging to the Air Development and Test Wing, all T-1s were retired.
¡ÚAbout the Kit¡Û
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the JASDF jet trainer aircraft T-1B.
- Paint and Glue are not included.
- Reproduce the T-1B equipped with the Japanese turbojet engine.
- Recreate the special marking of #810, which made the last flight of T-1B at Gifu Airbase.
- Enable to reproduce the body lines and markings of each part by large decals.
- Decal is silk-screen printing made by Italian Cartograf with high quality.
- The finished size is about 168mm in length.
