About the Car

The model is the evolution S1¡ÌE2¡Í, a further tune-up of the Audi Sport Quattro S1, that Audi sent to the WRC and World Rally Championships in the 1984 season. The Audi Quattro, which was the first 4WD rally car to enter the WRC in 1981, was developed in accordance with Group B regulations from 1984. The Audi Sport Quattro S1 was improved by adopting a chassis with a short wheelbase. The Audi Sport Quattro S1 ¡ÌE2¡Íwas added aerodynamic parts and other parts, and the weight distribution was corrected. The Audi Sport Quattro S1 ¡ÌE2¡Íwon second at the Monte Carlo Rally in January 1986.
